- Family Fun Park
Complete with water park, skate park, climbing equipment and plenty of shady trees and free BBQs to set the kids up for the day, the Family fun park is FREE and open 6 days, closed on Wednesdays for cleaning. Open until 9:30pm during Summer!

2. Lake Moondarra
Lake Moondarra is just a short 15 minute drive away and is the perfect haven for boaties, fishing enthusiasts, water skiers and anyone looking to cool off in the Mount Isa heat! Access to the lake is free and gates close at 10pm. With multiple boat ramps, a new scenic drive around most of the lake and the perfect vantage point for sunset, there’s room out at the lake for everyone.
3. Splashez Pool
Recently renovated, with state of the art facilities, Splashez Aquatic Centre is open from 5.30 am to 7.00 pm, 7 days per week and is a hub of activity year-round. With a popular kids’ pool and Rapid River stream, Olympic Sized lap pool and a newly built café; Splashez is the perfect place to cool off and chill out on a hot Mount Isa Day! Entry is $4 for adults and $3.50 for kids, pension and spectator rates do apply.
