Barkly Highway is a primary school educating from Prep through to Year 6. Our current student population of the primary school is approximately 440 students. Our quality teaching and support staff work together to provide an environment with high expectations for all students. An Early Childhood Developmental Program for children from birth to pre-prep is also located at Barkly Highway State School and has a current enrolment of 20 students.

MISSS invites enrolment for students aged between 5 and 18 years who have an intellectual impairment, may fall within the Autistic Spectrum Disorder, have a vision, hearing and/or physical disability.
