Queensland Academy of Sport in Mt Isa

Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is on the hunt for Queensland’s rising athletes! Through its partnership with Sports, it aims to find and cultivate talented athletes and prepare them for success in 2032.

To be eligible for Youfor2032 Talent Identification Program you must be:

• 13 to 23-years old (born between 2000 – 2010 inclusive) for Olympic Sports, or • 13 to 30-years old (born between 1993 – 2010 inclusive) for Paralympic Sports.

It does not matter whether you have experience in any of these sports – you may have hidden talents yet to be discovered. Athletic ability coupled with a great attitude to excel are the key ingredients needed for #Youfor2032.

The QAS Talent Team will be in Mount Isa Friday 14 April at the Sunset Stadium.

Following sport specific testing, a small number of Youfor2032 participants will be provided with a three-month trial period within the Sport they are best matched to, to further examine their potential.

Those successfully selected for the program will receive expert training, coaching and development support from State and National Sporting Organisations as well as the QAS.

Free but registration is necessary.
